Take a deep breath. Breathe. It's not as if the world is going to end if you can't handle this. Maybe. (Maybe it will, maybe it won't.)

After all, it's not like anyone expects you to fix this on your own. (Except that they do. Damn them anyway.) It's not as if you're the only one working on this (but you are). It's not as if you're the only one who cares (it only seems that way). Hopefully.

Most importantly of all, it's not your fault. It is, a little. But it isn't. They died for their sins (and yours too apparently) but you didn't. Which means it's not your fault. Right? Right? (It completely is.) It isn't. You're alive, you have been spared, it isn't you.

Take another deep breath. You have time. There's nothing trying to kill you (probably). You don't need to rush it, you just need to get it done (in time. For what, though?) You don't need to worry about it. (Just because no one else will doesn't mean you have to, right?) The world isn't doomed if you don't fix this. (It is. Oh, it is.)

It's not your sin. You didn't know what would happen. Just because those ingrates now don't listen to you, just because they tell you you're wrong and stand together and all that heroic crap, that doesn't mean you're crazy. (Are you?) You're trying to fix this. They just keep making it harder.

It's not your fault. (Your mistakes never are. Always someone else's.) It's theirs. (Blame it on the dead; everyone else does, don't they?) Take it easy. No one knows what you did. (Just what you're doing.)

Only you can fix it. You're the genius, after all. This is your world, and you're going to be the one to fix it. (No one else can. Or will.) You're the only one worthy. You will succeed.

Some days, Enzan could almost make himself believe it.
